KEMPE, Cabernet Sauvignon, Paso Robles, 2013

Aged in 30% new French oak, this Cabernet Sauvignon offers notes of vanilla bean, liquorice, black plums, liquid espresso, and chocolate. It flows into the palate with a full bodied richness, wild herbs, creme de cassis, and tobacco leaves. Pure and supple, it finishes with a layered mid-palate concentration, soft tannins, and seamless texture.

SUGGESTED PAIRING: Grilled steak, braised short rib or pasta with ragu.
